CM's Corp was in serious financial problems years before development and release of Grendizer. The writing was on the wall when the two owners committed suicide, and one of the widows sold her assets to fund Evolution Toy.
And don't forget that some people got their Grendizer samples with missing and/or broken parts, which CM's refused to help due to their financial situation.

And don't forget that some people got their Grendizer samples with missing and/or broken parts, which CM's refused to help due to their financial situation. yes but they may have survived with out Grendizers coffin nail.Alao returns are mostly left to the seller I've found ...BBTS takes stuff back that Anime Export may not, I've also never heard of Bandai taking anything back or being accountable how about all the bad Trider chest painted issues.. ? Anyhow but I'm still biased toward CMs I love their toys period and would support them always, again because of the characters..we pay stupid money for ET overpriced.. So paying another hundred for a a great character but die cast is a no Brainer.. Maybe if my Grendizer was bad I'd be steered a bit but not by much .. I mean I paid 750$ for one of my Gordians so.. oh btw I heard it was only one suicide? 2 that's nuts..Wow.! ..I knew about the ET thing a friend told me.Also I'm not rich by any means so therefore im not coming from a snobbish point of view of a rich person not caring.. My collection IS my worth.. I live in an apt so...my opinion still is has zero to do with money and everything toward the characters... It's not even a company thing if CMs outings became boring or repetitive I wouldn't keep buying..Its like this I think all my CMs are great toys even Balatac I fixed his legs with two magnets... All that complaining about him standing up vs the plethora of parts and add ons that came with him I also feel the major complaints are unwarranted.. Two small 10$ earth magnets saved the toy so it's another case...the only bad CMs toy for me is the Galient as they used plastic joints on a 98 percent die cast toy.. One of my arms just fell off sitting there.. I fixed it but that irritated me and it only cost me 100$ .. So it's all relative to what bothers you vs the love of these toys.. Money is the means to get them ... and buying overseas toys has many risks it's just all part of this.I see everyone's opinion but it all matters on how much each person values money..vs these risks and how much they want the toys.

Btw I realize I'm in the minority on this and most people won't agree with the way I feel.Im not trying to convince anyone it's an uphill battle.. I found at RJ the majority would get outright mad at different views and that's why I'm glad we have this place. Also I find it very humorous that Tom since I was banned has really not posted over there at all as I check the page for kicks once and a while.. So as I thought he was just there to try and argue and or impress everyone, when I left he lost any audience he may have had.. He never was a collector just a troll.

Grendizer could have been the last nail and could have not. As far as I know, the company was going to die anyway. But the only people that now are the ones who looked at the company books. As to the suicides, back when we hanged on that other forum (I am sorry, but I refure to name it)I remember reading a link that you provided from an Italian forum site that had an article on the company's demise.
Also HLJ, does take defective items and they work with companies to have them repaired or exchanged. I know because they did this for me when my SHE Gaikings had factory defects. SHE repaired them for me, and HLJ shipped the repaired units back to me.
In any case, I agree that we all have different opinions. So let's agree to disagree.

And ofcourse Agree to disagree different opinions from SANE people is what makes this place best, and I consider you and TMZ close friends.... We are unlike the mental institution forum that pretends to be full of all this love and companionship ,but when you question things or critique something badly it's the end of the world over there ... But that's why SRW was grown from a need of more serious collectors.

So it seems that the blurred image from that picture that I posted a couple of days ago is no other than Tetsujin 28. But wait, is it me or ET is trying to recreate the Chogokin DX version?!?!?!!!

The more I look at their figures the more I wish I had started collecting them. Their Gaiking looks great and after getting the SOC I suspect ET is better.
This had been a great discussion to read.

The first ET I bought was Gaiking and I still feel it's the worst one.But it's cool if you have the giant Daiku Maryu forgot to add it to the pic .I like all my others a lot.
