It's a Go Nagai manga 1979creation actually and his enemy was Machine Saurer so not originally microman, yet another unrelated toy grouped in with the line... the enemy dinosaur is also the same enemy in GOD Mazinger!

That might explain as to why the humanoid character has the eerie name of Deathcross.
