3D Printed Hover Pilder and Jet Pilder. No paint used as parts were printed in different colors. They are approximately 70mm long X 100mm Wide (wing tip to wing tip) X 55mm high. These were printed on a regular FDM (filament) printer, and are pretty much unprocessed, so the quality is not going to be like a resin printed version. Nevertheless, I think they came out very nice for their small size.

Here is the final iteration of the 3D printed Jet Pilder for the Hachette Mazinger Z head (which is mounted on the Limited Evolution Toy Mazinger Z Jumbo Body Part)...

All it needs to be 100% done is some paint is a few areas. I'm quite happy how it turned out, even thou Hachette did not make it an easy task.

Now working on the joint articulation choices. On the right arm I have the Super Robot Chogokin style elbow articulation. On the left arm I have the Soul of Chogokin GX-44 Tetsujin 28 style elbow joint articulation. The SRC style articulation has a better range of motion, but the SOC GX-44 style makes the forearm look aesthetically better. However, the SOC GX-44 style elbow articulation doesn't look very good when fully extended.

I'll just have both sets made, so they can be swapped as needed.

Working on the colorized version of the NEO Legendary Mazinger Z 3D printed action figure. All the parts, with the exception of the Chest Plates (and the Pilder in the future) are not painted. They were printed in resin and dyed in the respective colors, except the black parts, which are actually black resin.

CFF: So today at Target I saw the electronic Voltron. This is the non-combiner version, and it is well proportioned. It also has faux scratches to simulate battle damage. Dec 26, 2016 22:41:04 GMT
