For some reason, today I've been thinking about an old Marvel Comic Book character I used to love when I was young. ROM the Spaceknight:

I went looking on the web for some stuff to get me going on a custom one, and found this beauty here:

YES! This will be a great project to test my SLA Printer and my sculting skills!

Well, as long as it turns out as a recognizable ROM, I'll be happy.

Early next year IDW will start bringing ROM the Spaceknight and Micronauts comic books.

On a personal note, sometimes I try to imagine how ROM could have looked like if it was designed as a giant alien Super Robot with the original guy as its pilot...

CFF: At $36.99, the price was not bad. But with only 4 copies available which were roughly handled, and poor paint apps on the face and other small areas, I was a bit turned off and did not buy it. I might buy a copy later on as new stock becomes available... Dec 26, 2016 22:44:00 GMT
