Not to sound like a jerk or anything BUT does the average Japanese Grown male collector REALLY like these little girly toys?Because cute or not THEY ARE little girly toys!

Maybe it IS meant for girls! Bandai may have something going there. Entice the female population to become gokin collectors! }D

Most of Bandai's chogokins are geared towards the male market. So perhaps Bandai is just trying to be "gender-correct" by appealing to the female market? In Japan, young chics enjoy collecting chogokins of their favorite characters such as the Vocaloid Miku Hatsune, Hello Kittie, Drossel (to name a few). Any revenue from the female market can go towards other chogokin projects and eventually fund the makings of chogokins we'd like to see and have. My wild guess, of course. lol zozo-mag

But seriously I don't mind them releasing gokins like this as long as we don't get neglected. A good salesman has everything for every customer.

I don't know, but in my opinion, any male collector that buys any of those "girly gokins" falls in the same manly bracket as Boy George. LOL }D

I know women that are hardcore into Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars. And conversely, I know of guys that are hardcore into Barbies. And I am talking about people that do not fall in the Boy George or Rosie O'Donol categories.

Definitely... but isn't it still weird for a guy to love to collect girly stuff, not meant for resale? Like, I would buy the Holiday Barbie upon release, just to sell it for a good profit a few months later. But to keep it in a collection, nah. }D

Maybe Bandai is secretly putting a lot efforts on a Grendizer DX even as we speak and they're just randomly putting fillers in the meantime ... (yes i'm hoping to get a DX version of Grendy from them ... )

Hi all,
I am sure that a DX Grendizer shall be made - I think he is more popular than Great Mazinger (no offense to GMZ fans). As much as I like the DX line, finances (and room space) says that I'll focus on the "classic SOC". I have a few SRC but am not happy with the Thunder Thighs on MZ and Grendy.

I personally believe that we will see the DX Grendizer in the near future.

Hey, I won't lie. I bought it to go with my Hello Kitty Chogokin.
And who knows, maybe there is a market for women/girls? It's not terribly expensive and is a nice hunk of metal.
