I am willing to bet that if ET decides to make it, they will also release the fake one (sorry I forgot it's name, but it has a cross on its chest) as a Miyasawa limited release.
I am still pissed at Bandai for teasing us with their SRC version, and then cancelling any plans to make it.
The one with the chest Cross insignia which you're referring to is
Cleopat.
And then there is also
Torozon the enemy robot.
Although these two enemy robots have the same armor design as Giant Robo,
their weapons and programming are different.
Here's how they appear in the Johnny Sokko series:
GR-2 (Torozon): Appears in episodes 16 and 19.
Powers include a bladed boomerang on the head that can launch and emit electricity, burrowing, launchable arms, and eye lasers.
In its second appearance it is able to launch its head through the air and use its boomerang shaped horns and grasping claws.
I love the Johnny Sokko series, but these two episodes are my favorites because you get to see Giant Robo's fighting agility
against Torozon. Especially in episode 19, Torozon judo-throws Giant Robo into the air- and while in mid-air Giant Robo turns
it into an aerial back-flip and lands on his feet! That scene looks like something you'd see at WWF Smack-down!
Yeah, but that
back-flip, tho!

Calamity (Cleopat): Appears in episode 22.
Its only known power is having armor that reacts to long-range attacks by reflecting them back to their sources.
Unlike other enemies of Giant Robo, it was not built by Big Fire (
aka "The Gargoyle Gang")
rather, it was built in Armenia and later stolen and reprogrammed by Big Fire.
In this episode Giant Robo shot his eye lasers at Cleopat, and the lasers were deflected back to him
and burned his own eyes out.

So, yes, it's okay to guess that these two GR enemy robots may possibly appear in this toy line as well.
And why not! They both share Giant Robo's armor mold and sculpt-- just change the chest insignias for these two robots,
and just make a boomerang head for Torozon... production cost saved.
ET made a couple of Mazinger enemy robots for Mazinger, so why not one or two
enemy robot figures for GR and other heroic robots as well.
