The Delta printer seems to be working fine now. As soon as the wife goes back to work on Monday, I'll be able to continue the Dai Apolon project. It has been a LOOOOOOOONG three weeks!!! Going out of my mind!

Received a blower type cooling fan for the Delta printer today. Once installed, it should allow the prints to come out way better. Maybe I'll be able to hook it up this weekend... wife pending. }D

Yeah... the blower fan didn't quite work as I thought it would. So, I'm gonna try something else. I just ordered a $40 spool of High Impact PLA filament. I already have a spool of Nylon filament, which is really strong, but it can't be sanded or painted - because it's Nylon! Hopefully the High Impact PLA will be strong enough to allow printing if functional small parts, like joints... }D

I told you guys, this 3D design stuff likes to go wrong all the time. It's like a curse!
I haven't had the opportunity to test the Super PLA filament yet. I did get me a plastic injection machine thou ($1760 USD - thank God for Paypal credit). Problem is, the plastic injection machine needs molds to work, and those metal molds can be quite expensive to have them made (up to thousands of dollars). However, I have been doing some web research, and it seems possible to make the molds in a 3D Printer. Problem is, I need to learn how to use the software Solidworks in order to make them, and that software is freaking complicated as hell. So here we go, full circle again.

Thank God that I am a very patient man. Guys let TheMazingerZ do his thing on his own pace, great masterpieces were never made in one day.

Thanks man! I assure you that I'm giving it my best. I'm no toy designer or engineer, so every single thing I try to do is trial and error. This takes a lot of time. I want to make the best figure I can possibly make, which does not help time-wise either. I mean, if it was a solid statue, it would've been done on day-two. But a 3D printed action figure that looks good and doesn't fall appart the moment is posed is a totally different thing. Gravewolf has way more experience with this than I do, but he is a really busy guy. Anyway, if I don't have a heart attack and die before it is completed, you guys will get yours. }D
