Until I get my camera gear set up again to snap my own pics, I was just putzing around with Bandai's DX Maz photos
to place on my desktop. I had also made my own Windows 7 custom "start button" using a resized image of
the DX Mazinger's head. I used a program known as a Startbutton Changer, but first I had to modify my system
with a Theme-patcher to support 3rd-party themes, otherwise this wouldn't work...
If you'd like to use this for your desktop, here is the original image below.
Download it and save it to your Windows wallpaper folder (Windows 7, and newer Windows systems)
...in my case, I keep my own custom wallpaper folder inside the main wallpaper folder...
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\MyCustomWallpaper
Windows 7 will read and accept .png images for use as wallpapers.
This image is 1920x1080 pixels.
Windows 7 users and newer systems, rightclick your desktop...Properties...Personalize...Background...
...and select your image, and adjust it to stretch to your screen.
Windows XP users, download and save this to your C:\Windows\web\wallpaper folder.
Then, if this image is too big for your screen, you may resize it down to 1024x768 pixels
in your photo editor, and save the image as a bitmap (.bmp), or as a jpeg (.jpg)
since XP will not use .png images for wallpapers.
Rightclick your desktop Properties... Desktop... select your image from the list,
and adjust to fit or stretch its appearance on your screen.
Show off your Super Robots desktops!
PS: if you'd like your own Super Robot's head as a Windows start button, let me know and I will upload
the program for the start button changer and theme-patcher, along with some robot heads.
I'll need photo shots of the super robots from either the DX or the SOC figures' heads facing the camera,
against a black background. The larger the photo megapixel = the better. Smaller photos will show pixels, not good.
Then I can make the robot heads into start buttons.
Note: the Startbutton Changer and Theme-patcher programs will only work in Windows 7.
I will try to find the programs for Win8 and up.
If this thread is useless, let me know and I'll delete it.
Enjoy!
