Wish I liked the design but it's too Fewture for me and I don't like rusty cars which goes for my robots as well.weathering should be a version not the toy proper. Also borrowing heavily from modern Iron Man looks like.

From a realistic perspective, I like this design... the "muscular" form of the body seems humanoid, but at least it doesn't have "handles" like the threezero mazinger. lol The weathering looks nice, it convinces me of a robot put to use in battle. If the original anime were to look like this, it wouldn't have that heroic appearance of a super-robot that we're so used to seeing in the classics, in which the hero robot takes a beating but still looks like the paint-job hasn't even been scratched. zozo-mag

I was curious myself on how peeps would feel about this rendition. I do give ThreeA applause for trying something new to the genre, but with the United Gokin release of getters that are due next year with actual metal in it I think I will hold off my cash for those baddies instead. Somehow I just don't feel it for their super robot renditions thus far, perhaps my disappointment with the Mazinger release originally just left an odd reminder in my head on their releases. Though I would be very interested in someone's review of this release if they do decide to bite

If they had gone this route sculptwise with Mazinger, I would own it and the Aphrodite as well (which is really nice). These Getters look good, but since I already have the Fewture as the "alternate universe" design, I think I'll pass on these. }D
