It's Steel Jeeg alright, but it looks like they mixed in some Gakeen. The father and son here remind me of Gakeen's male copilot, Takeshi Hoyou (北条 猛), and his father, Toru Hoyou (北条 徹), who are both bad-@$$ martial artists. Jeeg's pilot, Hiroshi (ヒロシ), is a race car driver.
