Just got this today..3rd Mazinger enemy BELGAS V5 from ET toys.
This figure comes in a styrofoam 2 part coffin,with each part carefully wrapped in plastic baggies or protected by a thin loose foam sheet,which is ALL new from ET,usually we get plastic trays,but this again is a limited special AE offering,this may or may not be par for the course for other ET toys.Im not sure if Abdurrah or prepainted Kingdan came with styro trays but the MazingerZ can answer.The box is also different,its a thick hard corrugated type cardboard,with a beautiful full color wraparound printed photo,not teh thin cradboard we expect.
Also this figure has WEIGHT to it,its HEAVY and seems to be fully painted,It is made of Resin I believe,its NOT like other lightweight plastic SOCs but like the resin of ZMazinger.Its also the most easily posed of all the ET toys I own so far and I own quite a few of them in the double digits.The limbs seem not to bend as easily as meaning BAD easily,not floppy by any means,they are VERY much stiffer and easily bended to stay in position.
This figure seems to be the best offering as far as quality on a simple figure thusfar from ET.Its heavy,magnets are sound with limbs,making it very easy to hold poses and stand well.Paint apps were at 95% with some small residue that washed off,surprisingly very solid in teh paint dept.
Accessories are a removeable drill for teh head,it kind of just sets inside,if you tilt him it will fall out.He also comes with 2 sets of hands,fists and open hands.
One extremely odd thing is,the instructions I received were NOT for Belgas but for new colored POSEIDON LOL,factory mistake.
It is a bit less bulky than KINGDAN,as shown,but then again this is its design,I give figure an overall rating of a 9,based on other ET figures.It is a very good recomended figure get it,it's cheap,solid and odd enough looking to spice up any collection..Final word is ET is upping in quality,from the packaging to the weight of the figure and posability to the paint apps,this is an all around Superb effort from ET.Bravo!
