Okay folks! I got me a SLA 3D Printer, and have been trying it out by printing SRC sized items, like a Mazinger Z head and it's Jet Pileder with the open Canopy - with a tiny Koji Kabuto sitting inside. Amazingly, the SLA printer was indeed able to print these perfectly! With that said, I've been thinking about designing and printing more accessories for the Super Robot figures. Mainly smaller stuff, as the replacement resin for the SLA printed is $120 USD per liter! Next thing I'm gonna work on are the actual Drill-Missiles and Iron Cutters - very, very similar to the prototypes Bandai made years ago. These should not be a problem for the printer, as I have already printed those in a regular Filament printer before. However, they will be factory-like when printed in the SLA one. So, to make a long story short, I will be selling these here as I finish them.  Also, if there are any "wanted items", let me know and I'll see if I can make them as well. Thanks! }D |

maybe u can answer this in a thread but is the camera to printer capability good yet? And do u do that? Are there at home printers where you can get a printer to reproduce something from several camera angle shots??

There is software that can make 3D computer models from pictures. 123D Catch is one of them. But it is still quite a process to translate those software models to an actual printed model. It can be done, but it's not easy. }D |

Been working on these two for Dammage7.  The old Davinci 1.0 3D printer worked pretty good for the SKL Axe Staff, but the SLA 3D printer pissed me off today, while it was doing a 7 and a half hour print of two Iron Cutters. Damn! Seven and a half hours down the drain!  Yeah... but tomorrow is another day. }D |
