Sentinel Hero Meister Ultra Man 1/6 scale 12"

Decided to pick this guy up via y! japan by Sentinel.  Here are some pics of this guy.  I'm typically not into 12" figurines nor am I an avid collector of any toy line at this scale for figurines.  But I do pick-up the occasional figure with armor or robotic like features (like iron man hulkbusters ... )  

Below are some pics of this guy...and some initial thoughts 


- Quality is very good as expected of Sentinel
- Pose ability is good 
- Paint / decals are top notch on this guy 
- There are borrowing the joint systems found in their iron-man re-edit line 

- Con: does not have pose able hands

I do like the photo op this guy provides for Great Mazinger DX

Very nice figure! I was going to get the Ultra-Act version, but something about it did not sit well for me. Looking at the Sentinel version, I realized it is the proportions of the waist to hips to upper torso to head. Something is not symetrical IMO. I feel like it has way to wide hips, to long of a waist, to narrow of a chest, and too small of a head? I don't know. It is not the figure's fault. These figures are pretty much exactly as it appears in the manga. But, I must say it still looks cool.

I did pre-ordered the Version 7.2 Ultra-Act "Ultra Seven", since that is my all time favorite Ultraman.

Haha.. I do agree with your observation regarding the hip/torso section of this guy as well.  Not that Sentinel did a bad job here, but I think the character design around the hip area was a little off as you said.

Yes, the 7.2 "ultra seven" looks very enticing indeed

Now that you mentioned it... hahaha... it does resemble a cyberman in some ways...
