I wonder if I'll ever see in my life time a Fix Figure Metal Composite Char's Zaku II from Bandai. If that ever happens I think it would sell out like hot cakes... come on Bandai my RX-78 Origin Gundam needs his adversary "the red comet"... will you release one already...

The Gundam franshise is so huge, that it is hell for collecting. I have a couple FFM Gundam characters myself, but there seems to be no end to just how many characters are made. Yeah, that is good, but it can also be very bad... unless you have rooms galore to display your collection

LOL ... yeah my collection is quite eclectic to say the least ... As I told Baron before, it ranges from vintage popy/gokin -> macross -> gundam -> soc -> whatever the heck I think is cool, has diecast, spring loaded gimmicks and ridiculous engineering But you're right Gundam is a death trap in many ways, I haven't done gundam modeling in like forever and I typically only collect the diecast toys for the franchise though i have recently picked-up a few of their Mega size gundpla lines just cause they're so friggin' huge. I don't really have the room to display it all to be honest so I try to rotate my display every quarter or so from time to time.

Just realized something as I am staring at my two new mega sized gundam model build outs... wouldn't it be awesome if Bandai did gundam like kits for Super Robots characters with the same level of articulation and details ....

Always wanted Bandai to do just that, but they seem to be just focused on Gundams only as far as kits. ;'(

I'd be happy if they did start with HG kits or RG kits for any SR then maybe we'll finally get to chop up mazinger z, great mazinger and some other parts to make gekigangar finally

Mark my words, you will get a 3-D printed Gekiganger action figure faster than Bandai's HG Super Robot kits.

Funny I was thinking the other day to literally consider a pet project whereby I take the upcoming Great Maz DX and a Maz DX and see if there's a nice way to make a DX gekiganger LOL ... am I having a pipe dream here? I know... the things we think about when we're sitting in a 2 hour meeting ...

I know... i know... but I was just thinking how cool it would be to have removable armor gekigangar standing next to both mazingers ....
