Found a West Kenji Mazinger Z for a decent price the other day, and decided to customize it a little to make it more OVA accurate. This particular one if from the Mazinger Z vs Ankoku Daishogun OVA.

I love the sculpt of this figure! I took off the original Breat of Fire chest plates, and replaced them with custom ones I made. The articulation of these West Kenji vinyl figures is weird. It relies on "rotation" of fixed joints instead of mechanical joints. It may not have the range of motion of a regular action figure, but it is surprisingly good for just using non-mechanical joints.

Cool I used to have the blue limbed one I kept the koji in high school uniform and sold the Mazinger cuz mine had really loose joints I tried using floss but to no avail.. Nice job TMZ they are nice looking vinyls.

CFF: So today at Target I saw the electronic Voltron. This is the non-combiner version, and it is well proportioned. It also has faux scratches to simulate battle damage. Dec 26, 2016 22:41:04 GMT

CFF: At $36.99, the price was not bad. But with only 4 copies available which were roughly handled, and poor paint apps on the face and other small areas, I was a bit turned off and did not buy it. I might buy a copy later on as new stock becomes available... Dec 26, 2016 22:44:00 GMT
