Hi all,
All my orders from Japan are sent to my sister in Los Angeles, CA. They all arrive safely at her home.
My current order of ET Maz Head with Hover Pileder went back to Japan! Upon checking the tracker-it was at local post office and went back to Tokyo. My sister never got a postal notice to pick it up at a postal office.....first time this happened.......
For Collectors in the States; are your packages delivered straight to your homes, or do you have to get it at the post office?

For Collectors in the States; are your packages delivered straight to your homes, or do you have to get it at the post office? I get it at home. However, if you're not home at the time of delivery and the postman takes the package back with him/her, the Post Office will send packages back to the sender if they are not picked up within a few days. I had that happen to me once when I lived in CA, but it was the post office's fault since I had a current "Mail Hold". They were supposed to keep the package there until I returned a month later, but they didn't. They had to flip the EMS bill from Japan back to me. }D

Thanks for the reply TMZ......it is still baffling why it got stuck at the post office and no notice wax sent to my sister. Will have Ami Ami it re-send package to my sister and I'll check the tracker just in case it goes back to the post office again. I may just buy from a US shop for my future orders.....

My advice: If you are expecting a package and you have a tracking number, track it on a daily basis until you receive it. There are many issues reported by people who do this. They track their package and see that it has been delivered to the wrong address, or it shows delivered when it really wasn't, or it says they knocked on the front door and nobody was home when people were home, or it says they left a notice when they didn't. You can't trust them. You have to keep an eye on it constantly until you receive it.

Many thanks for the advice Gaiking. I have been ordering from Japan since 2012, and all packages were sent straight to my sister's home in LA. Will check the tracker daily; in case it says at post office will have my sister go and claim it.
