I know that this is a toy aimed for kids, but couldn't Playmates put a little more effort on it?

DUUUDEEE why couldn't Bandai put THIS MUCH effort the lions legs dissapear in Robot mode!!! Looks like the pull open and split and u tuck legs inside!! Wtf now I am pissed it's actually a good idea!

I don't think that this is the combined Voltron figure. Based on the Nerdist's article, the Voltron in the pictures is the basic action figure.

Thanks to BBTS we have pictures of the combined Voltron.
Based on what we have, it looks like the legs for the red and green lions are removable.

Sort of.
From the pictures angle, it looks like the front legs of the red and green lions can be removed. Not sure about the back legs. Also the blue and yellow lions seem to keep their legs.

We need better pictures at different angles.

Well, I pre-ordered one (the combining lions). If we get more pics later, and it looks like it really sucks, I'll just cancel.

OK, we now have official press release pictures along with instructions showing how the lion legs are hidden.
Yeah, you read it right. No pop-off legs, no extra covers, just fold the legs and hide them inside the lions. Take note Bandai!
