I have been contemplating the idea of weeding out my collection. I have a lot of doubles, triples, and even quadruples that are quickly becoming "vintage". A perfect example is the SOC Mazingers. The new GX-70 set the bar at a new level, and I don't like to keep the outdated figures when new and improved ones are released. I also have a lot of other non-Super Robot stuff that I collected through the years, and that no longer interest me much (He-Man, DC, Marvel, DBZ, Ultraman, Godzilla, Kaiju vinyls, G.I. Joe, etc).
What do you guys think?

Keep 1 figure for display, keep a double for backup.
Sell the triples and quadruples.
Also if you decided that you are only concentrating on Super Robots, then sell your non-Super Robot stuff. You will earn a chunk of money to buy newer robots, and you will regain a lot of valuable real state. But I will recommend to catalog that stuff first, and decide which non-Super Robot figures you still want to keep. So will not end up with selling remorse.

I'm in a similar boat, but in my case it's more of a thinning of the horde  If anyone has a bright idea on how to decide on which one to keep and which one to let go I'm all ears. Don't have duplicates of but trying to decide on which one to let go is like asking which child you love less... sigh.. |

I am looking for a few CMs like Great BaanGaan God Raijin Oh and the Takara King Exkaiser set of both robots. And SOC Dancouga ..put some stuff up in for sale sight too! |
