Ha! I knew it! The US version is the Japanese version with the box sleeve.
Also that kid in cosplay was so damn annoying that it is no surprise to me that he actually broke it. Good thing that I was not there; otherwise I would have punched him on the face.

Oh for sure.I was thinking as soon as those kids held a toy in their hands they reverted to six-year-olds trying to break some other kids toy just for the fun of it. How about the kid trying to stretch the legs apart! Like a split! What the hell was he thinking? Let's see how much stress we can put on it? Actually I'm surprised the lions legs look all metal is that the case?

So looking back when holding the sword the green lion head swiveled so easily at the wrist it can't hold the weight of the sword and it's not a ball joint..Is it me or do SOCs always have some issue with wrist pegs etc over time or even out of box? Look at Voltes wrists and even Daltanious , the rubber pegs get so damn loose holding swords over time etc they need a ratchet wrist design or something new. When in Voltron mode they must just swivel one way?
I don't buy the prototype line here it's much too close to release to have been a prototype for that issue.
