Btw in the new book is this... oh ye naysayers that claim oh it's an homage to the toy.. BS!! Bandai was just TOO LAZY to do their own sketched version below,NO LEGS! It says a distinct named VERSION so not just a drawing of the anime to work from, the middle is the version DX it says and that may be removeable legs as they are stout as hell! The other one is what we got ... But indeed they settled for the "Nostalgia" factor(yeah ok! Whatever) ... but who's nostalgia anyway i wanna know? USA kids??? Oh they care all the sudden? Japanese kids who this show was a nothing flash in the pan? Nope ! So we get down to its just the easy way out.,. Enjoy your nice butterfly feelings RJ.. cuz ain't happening with most here...and again shoulderlocks suck, working or not. It's a glaring mistake and does not fit with rest of design...

Look at that first one the real one,no jutting black lion legs out the back, smooth beautiful arms and legs.. this was possible, and anime magic u say?I call bullshit! Sorry the most recognized and well known robot amongst non collectors, and you can't do it right? The ONLY SR this far from anime accuracy in our collections is Voltron??? Sorry it's getting to me late. Also about to open my Mazingers, lots of complaints about the hips, swapping parts and throwback engineering, well we will see...
Got a lot this week to photograph for u guys..gonna get round to GOLDWING,my custom Daiapolon pilot (even though now we may not see the robot cuz ET put it in limbo date, license?) DC Maz,did my Godam pics but he gets no love LOL.... oh TMZ I want to hear your voice on this DC Maz too please! Thx guys..

So from the third picture (one on the right), Bandai just slimmed-down the lions' legs.
I must say, Voltron looks better on the first picture.
Oh well, people just wanted a SOC Voltron. So they can make any excuses to make themselves feel better.
