I am not familiar with the manga, but this was supposed to be next super robot series after Grendizer.
I wonder what would have happen if the drift between Go Nagai and Toei Animation over Gaiking's ownership never occurred. Could this series be animated? Could have it been successfull?

I think that Garla was the name of the dinosaur-like mechanical monster because the robot ridding it is called Big Daitan, which does have some resemblance to Grendizer.

The whole concept is weird, and makes me wonder what kind of drugs was Go Nagai doing while coming up with this concept.

Also see a little shin getter dragon and his big dragon...I've seen this before and think it's marvelous... him looking like a bad guy is cool! After all his hero robots all represent demons anyhow...Mazinger and great are just robot Devils.. think even the song lyrics mention it...
