Take it with a grain of salt, but at this year's New York Toy Fair Adam Newman from Tamashii Nations announced the Pacific Rim Uprising license. He talked about a few of the product types that will be coming out. Bluefin has posted a video with the announcement. hey will be doing Chogokin and GunPla products among other things. It is confirmed at this weekend's Tamashii World Tour event in NYC. SOC Gipsy Danger was displayed. No price or release date info was provided.  |

Looks like a "solid metal" Katamari figure to me. Also, why did they pick the Gypsy Danger instead of the new Gypsy Avenger mech? Oh well, if they do make them in SOC form, I'm buying them. 😄👍

Not like Gundams or Transformers at all! }D Right, not at all. I'm into 70s Super Robots, and personally I saw a little bit of Mazinger Z, Jeeg and Gakeen in Pacific Rim. There's the somewhat Rocket Punch. There's the male and female pilots merging in order to control the robot, kinda like Gakeen.   The round thing on Gipsy Danger's chest reminded me of Jeeg's belt buckle round thing.   There's the head dropping into the body, kinda like Jeeg. |
