Hi all,
I believe that Bandai's choices of items to produce are mainly influenced by the Japanese market. I noticed that Bandai S.H.Figuarts line produces a variety of figures (Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Bruce Lee etc.).
I wish they made Super Robot pilots - Koji Kabuto, Duke Freed, Tetsuya & Getter Robo pilots are popular. I feel that it is an untapped market.
Even if Good Smile/Figma made pilots I'd buy them all.
Cheers,

I totally agree there is a new tatsunoku line with casshern polymar etc but not pilots proper. I'd love to see this done!

Since the DX Mazinger Z and upcoming Great Mazinger DX is coming out, Bandai knows that MZ products generate a lot of sales! It wouldn't be a risk on their part to produce Koji Kabuto. Wish Bandai makes our SR pilots soon. Maybe Evolution Toys can get into that if Bandai doesn't.....

I'm actually surprised we haven't seen one for Kabuto yet the more I think about it from Bandai

So far, most of the Super Robot pilots produced are the female figures (Sayaka Yumi, Maria Freed, Chizuru Nanbara). We need Koji, Duke, Tetsuya, etc.
