That might be just why ET couldn't do their "metal" one. Licensing works in mysterious ways...
I will get the Fewture for sure, but I still like the anime look of the ET version better. 👍

I highly doubt that that is the reason. Remember, they were also working on Mechander Robot as part of that new gokin line of theirs.
They canceled that line all together because either they could not pull it off, or they figured out that that line was going to be astronomically expensive.

Nah, I'm pretty certain it was licensing issues. Seen it before with other companies making the same character in similar materials and sizes. }D

I don't. I only like the obscure robots that they make. Dammit! I miss CM's Corp! If they were still in business, they would make a proper Dia Apolon. And we could also be enjoying Acrobunch.

More pictures of Dai Apolon. There are going to be two offerings: - Version A which will be a non-combiner. - Version B which will be a combiner. Version A will be the Feature-Arstorm design, but slightly different from Dr. Sato's original design. Version B will be the anime accurate version been developed by Action Toys.

It's what I think happened anyway. You have your opinion, which nobody asked you to prove. I have mine, and I don't have to prove anything to anyone either. You can just take it or leave it, your choice. But just this instance, I'll point you in the right direction: Talk to HlPro. }D

So do I. They make what they make, and as long as you know what you're buying, there should be no issues. They make the characters I like, and that's what counts for me. To be honest, I could care less if Bandai made the best, most anime accurate, geniously engineered figure of the classic Tetsujin 28. I would not buy it because I do not care for it, and I already have the SOC version which is enough for me. So, companies that do not make what I want just don't get my money. Companies that do, well... }D

You can just take it or leave it, your choice. But just this instance, I'll point you in the right direction: Talk to HlPro. }D OK, I have seen licensors restrict regions where their properties can be sold. And depending to the licensor they might be strict or relax artistic freedom with their properties. But I have never seen a licensor dictate how their property should be made and with which materials. So if hit18 wants to share, I will listen. But I still believe that ET could not produce that new Chogokin line of theirs because they could not pull it off. The proof is on their sample pictures of Dai Apolon. They were showing a Dynamite Action model from the very beginning. Then they cancelled the entire line which consisted of this figure and Mechander Robo. And a few weeks later, they are offering Dai Apolon under the Dynamite Action line, but at the same original pre-order price. I admit that ET has a great sculptor, and they make the obscure robots that no other company will dare to touch. But they are not as innovative and gutsy as CM's. Sure CM's products were not perfect and some products had quality issues, but they had metal and their prices reflected their products.
