Hi all, For my 70's era Super Robot collection, I just pre-ordered today Robot Junior from AmiAmi. I like adding "support robots" in my collection, and I have the SOC Boss Borot, Aphrodite A, Minerva X, Dianan A and Venus A to compliment my SOC Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger. Any news on this little fella? Originally the website said that it was coming out in September (and it still says so) but it hasn't come out yet, right?
I hope it doesn't get delayed too much. It's gonna be my first ET figure and if he's any good I'm going to get myself some more good stuff from that company, but I need Robot Junior first!

It's most likely delayed, but not delayed enough for them to change the release date. I also have it on pre-order from A-E, so I'm in the same boat as you.  }D |

Seems there is a 2-month delay. For ET Barattack, I just got my payment request from AmiAmi this week, which was originally due for August release.

It is delayed until November, but do not be surprised if it gets delayed again.
Evolution Toy is turning into the habit of opening pre-orders early and then delaying their products for months. Not as bad as HL-Pro with their delays, but close enough.
This is why I prefer to pre-order at places that do not require upfront payments.

I know it can be a unsettling feeling, but I like to pre-pay for my stuff as much as possible. That way I know I can afford to get it, since it is already paid for. Shit happens, and there have been a couple of times when I had to ask the stores to cancel the stuff I had pre-ordered (but not pre-paid), just because I did not have the money to pay for it when I got the payment request notice. }D |

Different strokes for different folks. I still prefer not not pay upfront because the Manufacturer can end-up cancelling the product after multiple delays, or even worse the retailer might go out of business. So in any event after 3-months, it is very difficult to get your money back. Just ask the folks that got screwed-up by Toy-Freakz. Therefore I rather set money aside for the pre-orders, and keep my budget in check. It also helps me prioritize which toys I really have to have, and which ones I can live without. It is not perfect, but this method does help me focus on the quality of my collection. And I end up saving money in the long run. Specially when later on I buy on sale items that I did not pre-order. |

True, but waiting can also work against you if the currency fluctuates. Remember, the Yen hit an all time high against the Dollar several times already. I was one of those that got screwed by the weak dollar to Yen fluctuation. But, we must do what we think is right, and more so if that gives us peace of mind. }D |

Thanks for the replies. Yep, hopefully it will be out by November, so we can all check it out.
Personally, I only paid a small portion of the price upfront back in July, 20 euros I think, and will pay the rest once the item arrives.
